Creamy Cinnamon Oat Porridge with Caramelised Bananas

By adding a nice dose of cinnamon and the ‘oh so’ flavoursome caramelised banana slices, this recipe will allow your mind to take you to so many places and escape your (maybe) hectic morning for a second. Serves 1

Ingredients

1 espresso cup Alara Scottish oats

2 espresso cups water

1 espresso cup Oatly cream

1 tsp honey

1 tsp cinnamon 

1/2 banana, sliced

Method 

1. In a small pan gently heat the water, Oatly cream and porridge oats stirring continuously for about five minutes until thick and creamy. 

2. Whilst your oats are cooking away, heat a small pan with a tsp of coconut oil, macadamia oil or ghee. Add your sliced bananas and sizzle until golden. Flip and repeat on the other side. 

3. Pour your oats into a bowl, drizzle over some extra Oatly cream and cinnamon powder. Top with your caramelized bananas and enjoy!
